Education and Training
I provide education in: family violence, family law, screening for violence, the opioid crisis, and subjects related to equity. For a list of my recent presentations click here.
Whether you need help designing your project, conducting the research itself, or analyzing the data, I can work with you to reach your goals. As a lawyer, I have experience researching caselaw and understanding legal precedents. I am particularly interested in designing participant centered research projects for social justice initiatives.
You want research done with cultural humility, and through a trauma-informed lens
I am here to support you. I can help your team be an organization for change by providing education on areas of the law that are fundamental to your work. In the past I have consulted with the Department of Justice on the creation of a family violence screening tool for lawyers.
You need expertise in intersectional feminism, family law, criminal law, or the Canadian legal system.
